I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI where we say "pop" and not "soda." I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a B.A. in Film and Video. I'm a huge film nerd with a broad range of favorites from "Star Wars" to "Singin' in the Rain" to "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg." Movies are a deep passion of mine and I love nothing more than connecting with a film in a dark theater. Just don't ask me to name my favorite movie. I now live in California where I don't miss the winters of Michigan one bit.
