The Benefits Of Meditation

We’re talking about the benefits of you controlling your own mind through Meditation Tools.

Meditation gives you the ability to increase your awareness and expand your perspective. With expanded perspective and strengthened awareness comes increased personal control and an understanding of the choices available to you. Those two things lead to “personal agency” and the development of your personal power.

We do not have much choice when it comes to the effects of the physical events of our world. Unfortunately, we tend to focus and worry about those things not under our control.

A meditation practice changes the focus back to the things within our power. Imagine getting the benefits of extended meditation in a fraction of the time it would normally take. Bill Harris and his Holosync Audio Technology by Centerpointe does just that. It is stronger and faster than traditional meditation.

The Great Power Of Choice

Although most of us don’t realize it, we have more choices than we realize in a number of areas. We have a choice over how we feel, how we behave, the people and situations we become involved with, and the meaning that we assign to everything that happens to us. Meditation gives us access to those choices.

You may have heard of the different types of brain waves:

  • Beta – This is our normal waking state.
  • Alpha – This is the state of joy and accelerated learning. We are in the alpha state just before we go to sleep and just as we are waking up.
  • Theta – These are the brain waves responsible for dreams, the visions that we have during meditation, creativity, and our “aha” moments.
  • Delta is the state of dreamless sleep.

There is also a relatively unexplored state of brain activity called Gamma. This is a state that puts us in touch with love, kindness, and compassion.

Holosync Audio Technology by Centerpointe allows us to change our brain wave patterns so that we can alternate among any of these different states as appropriate. We are able to leave the fight-or-flight commands of our limbic system – the “reptilian brain.” Instead, we gain the benefits of improved judgment, delayed gratification, and improve self-discipline.
