Did you know that many doctors and researchers are referring to the gut microbiome as our  “second brain”? This is because of the huge impact our microbiome has on our neural pathways and emotional response. 

Specific mental health conditions, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Schizophrenia, and Bipolar Disorder can be heightened or even caused by the microbes in your gut!  If you or a loved one suffer from anxiety, depression, or any of the conditions listed above, your microbiome might be heavily involved.
